As a service to our readers, Progressnotes, an MUSC publication sent to all physicians licensed in the state of South Carolina as well as to other health care professionals, is pleased to offer CME credit on selected articles (at least one per issue). Topics for these CME articles are selected with input from the College of Medicine CME Advisory Committee. A CME-eligible sister telepresentation for each article is offered through the South Carolina AHEC program for additional credit. All Progressnotes CME activities and tests can be accessed via the link above.

Credit Designation

The Medical University of South Carolina designates this enduring material for a maximum of .50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM  per article. Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Please use the following instructions to complete your posttest and evaluation and to provide contact information to receive your CME credit certificate.

Selecting an Article from Progressnotes:

  • Go to Available CME-eligible Progressnotes Articles and then click the link to your selected article.
  • When you have finished reading the article, click on the “Take the CME test” link associated with that article (see list below) to complete the brief posttest and activity evaluation and to provide your contact information.  A CME credit certificate will be emailed to you.
