Emily Warr, MSN, RN
Emily H. Warr, MSN, RN, is the Medical University of South Carolina’s Tele-ICU and ICU Innovations Nurse Manager. Emily began her career at MUSC as a critical care nurse in 2002 and has extensive experience in pediatric and adult ICU populations, including time coordinating MUSC’s Extracorporeal Life Support Center. While in her role as the ECMO Coordinator, Emily helped lead a program that was consistently nationally recognized with the Award for Excellence by the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization.
In her current role, Emily collaborates with the Medical Director of MUSC’s Medical Intensive Care Unit and Tele-ICU to build a robust critical care outreach program and improve ICU care by reducing health disparities in hospitals throughout South Carolina.
Rebecca Beeks is the Program Assistant for Tele-ICU and ICU Innovations. Rebecca joined the team in June of 2015 after graduating from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in Management.
She provides technical assistance and support for research studies investigating the impact of Tele-ICU and critical care outreach programs in South Carolina, which includes preparing REDCap databases and IRB applications. Rebecca also assists in coordinating ICU Innovations educational offerings and curriculum development. She assists with strategic planning for tele-ICU hospital recruitment and for the Advanced ICU Care/MUSC partnership as well.
