Biography

Dr. Craig Woodard is a board-certified neurologist, most recently practicing as a general adult neurologist in a private practice setting in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center-San Antonio, graduating in 1987, followed by his neurology residency training at the same institution and then a fellowship in EMG/neuromuscular disorders at Brown University. After completing postdoctoral training, Dr. Woodard joined a private practice neurology group in Greenville, South Carolina where he worked for 11 years prior to moving to Nashville, Tennessee. He developed active outpatient neurology practices in both locations and also saw inpatient hospital consultations.

Dr. Woodard joined the Department of Neurology at MUSC in October 2013 with the plans to develop a clinic-oriented outpatient neurology practice. He sees patients at the North Charleston and West Ashley offices. Dr. Woodard is comfortable seeing patients with a wide range of neurologic disorders, including headaches and cognitive disorders.
