Originally from rural Ohio, Dr. Marcella Tabor attended college at the University of Notre Dame, medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before moving to the Lowcountry in 1994. She has had a long career in outpatient primary care prior to joining MUSC Health Primary Care.
Dr. Tabor is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and by the National Committee for Quality Assurance in diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. She has also obtained a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) site certification.
Dr. Tabor treats patients of all ages. Her clinical interests include preventative health, chronic care management, and women’s health.
