Dr. Karinka Romanowska is board certified in internal medicine and treats patients age 18 and older. Her clinical interests are the treatment of chronic illnesses including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and other complex medical conditions.
After graduating from Jagiellonian University Medical School in Poland, Dr. Romanowska completed her clinical and research fellowship and her residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was formerly practicing as the visiting locum tenens internist/hospitalist at Sault Area Hospital and as a staff physician with the Appletree Medical Group in Ottawa, Canada.
Dr. Romanowska is passionate about partnering with patients, families, and the community to achieve the best possible care for her patients.
