Biography

Dr. Kumiga completed his undergraduate degree at Radford University on a Presidential Scholarship, and went on to obtain his Master’s degree in Biology at Long Island University. He then received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Long Beach Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. He then completed his Interventional Spine Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, where he received extensive training in fluoroscopic-guided spinal procedures, electrodiagnostics, and musculoskeletal medicine.


His primary focus as a physiatrist is to restore function and improve the quality of life of his patients utilizing a variety of comprehensive non-operative modalities.
