Biography
Cortney Hudak Van Ausdal, AuD, CCC-A, is a board-certified clinical instructor of audiology. She received her AuD from the University of Akron (in conjunction with Kent State University and The Cleveland Clinic) in 2011. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science and Disorders and a certificate in Latin American studies. Dr. Van Ausdal completed her clinical externship year at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2010 to 2011 immediately prior to joining the Department of Otolaryngology as a faculty member.
Her clinical interests include: adult audiologic and electrophysiologic evaluations, adult hearing aid evaluations and fittings, osseointegrated implantable device evaluations and fittings, and vestibular evaluations. Dr. Van Ausdal is a member of the vestibular and balance program and the skull base program at MUSC. She is active in clinical research within MUSC.
