Meredith Holcomb, AuD, CCC-A is the Clinical Director of the MUSC Cochlear Implant Program. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication Studies in 2001. She also received a Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. Dr. Holcomb completed a graduate externship year at MUSC from 2005-2006 before joining as a faculty member. She determines candidacy for pediatric and adult cochlear implant patients, as well as programs and troubleshoots implants following surgery. She also manages pediatric hearing aid caseloads and performs electrophysiological testing. Dr. Holcomb has served on the Audiology Advisory Board for Med El Corporation and Cochlear Corporation. She is active in clinical research with pediatric audiology and cochlear implants. She is the current President of the SC AG Bell chapter.
