Biography

Dr. Jennifer Cook is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and is board eligible for Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation. She completed her Internal Medicine training the Medical University of South Carolina where she also had the honor of serving as Chief Medical Resident. She completed her cardiovascular disease fellowship as well as training in advanced heart failure and transplantation at Washington University/ Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She serves on the national Clinical Cardiology Leadership and Advanced Heart Failure Committees of the American Heart Association. She has been on faculty at MUSC since 2008 and she now serves as the Medical Director of the Left Ventricular Assist Device Program. She is involved in clinical research involving novel drug and device therapies for heart failure.
