At MUSC Health we try to make paying your bill as convenient as possible by allowing you to pay online, pay by mail, or pay in person.

Want to Set Up an Account?

If you would like to start paying your bills online, you can set up an MUSC Health MyChart Account here. In addition to paying your bills, you can send messages back and forth from your providers, review your current list of medications and request refills, and see your lab test results.

Walk-in hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Forms of Payment

For your convenience, MUSC Health accepts multiple forms of payment for your hospital bill, including:

  • Personal checks (payable to MUSC)
  • Money orders
  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Discover
  • American Express
  • Cash

Payment in full is expected by the due date on the statement you receive.

Customer Service

MUSC Health will bill your primary and secondary health care plan on your behalf. However, you are ultimately responsible for the services provided.  You may be billed if your healthcare plan does not process in a timely manner.  Further follow up with your insurance will be your responsibility.

Financial Assistance
If you do not have insurance and can not afford to pay your bill all at once, MUSC Health will work with you to set up a payment plan.  Please call us at 843-792-6200 or 800-868-5051, or learn more about financial assistance with your bill.
