Katie Bracken, ATC, PES
Athletic Trainer

Katie Bracken was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. After completing high school, she continued her education at Ohio University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While attending Ohio University, she was able to work with all varsity sports, including Ohio University’s Football Team and attending the Advocare 100 Bowl Game. After completing her college degree, Katie took her career to Boone, North Carolina to complete a two-year internship at Appalachian State University. While at ASU, she was the Head Athletic Trainer for Women’s Softball, where she was able to travel across the country and provide continuous care for her team.

Katie is certified by The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist.

She recently moved to Charleston and joined MUSC in June 2015.
