Registration is required for all classes and programs offered unless otherwise noted. Payment must be made at time of registration in order to secure a space in the class. If you choose to send in a check or money order, your restitution will not be confirmed until payment is received and posted to your account. Space for our classes and programs are filled on a first-come, first-paid basis.
In order to register, applicants must do the following:

With some courses, enrollment is not permitted unless you have taken an oral language assessment. Cost of language assessment is one-hundred fifty dollars ($150.00). Payment must be submitted at time of registration.
Upon receipt of payment for a training registration, within 2-3 business days an email receipt will be sent to the customer.
Approximately two weeks before the first day of a training program, a welcome email will be sent to all training participants. This welcome email will reconfirm the training
location, date(s), time(s) and include further information such as contact telephone number(s) and item(s) that participants should bring to the training.
Approximately 2-3 days before the training, a final reminder email will be sent to training participants.
A refund request for a class/program must be submitted in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org. A seven-day notice of cancellation is required to receive a refund or to transfer to another class/program. Refund requests submitted before the class/program registration deadline will be subject to a fifty dollars ($50) cancellation fee. Refunds will not be given after the class/program registration deadline, rather, a credit may be issued. Refunds are not available for some classes/programs, and a voucher to enroll in a future class/program is given instead.
In the event of a class/program cancellation, the Medical Interpreter Training Center will communicate this information to participants as quickly as possible. Participants can either request a refund or apply the registration fee as a credit toward a future program.
If you require accommodations for your registered event, please contact the Medical Interpreter Training Center at email@example.com at least ten (10) business days prior to the event. Although requests for accommodations will be accepted after this date, the center cannot guarantee the accommodation will be provided.
Training participants agree to be filmed and/or photographed by MUSCHealth.
Training participants grant to MUSC Health and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns and designees (collectively, “the Released Party”), approval for past use and the absolute right and permission for present use of any photographs, videos, recordings or images taken of training participants for any legitimate purpose in any manner or media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without notice to training participants and without limitation, condition, consideration, consent or compensation.
Training participants’ image and/or voice may be copyrighted, used and/or published individually or in conjunction with other photography or video works, and recordings, in color or black and white, in any medium including, without limitation, print publications, public broadcast, CD-ROM format, and for any lawful purposes, including, without limitation, trade, exhibition, illustration, promotion, publicity, advertising or electronic publication in the world and/or on the Internet and worldwide web.
MUSC Health has been approved by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) , the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), and International Medical Interpreters Association (IMIA), as an administrator for Continuing Education Units (CEUs). CEUs will be offered for all training provided, sponsored, or co-sponsored by MUSC Health.
The Interpreter Training Center courses are offered within the MUSC Health Center for Learning. The Center features large, state-of-the-art classrooms and free, convenient parking.
