Is improving your health through exercise a goal you are setting in 2014?  MUSC’s orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, Dr. Shane Woolf recently shared some tips for getting fit on SCETV Radio's YOUR DAY.

His tips included:

  • Pick an activity you really enjoy - you are more likely to stick with it.
  • Bones can grow stronger at any age with light weight training so pick up that weight or even a can soup and start lifting today
  • Choose activities that are easily accessible and that you can you with others to make it social
