The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at MUSC Health provides unsurpassed patient care and treatment, through our extensive and comprehensive centers and programs. Our Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) physicians, most of whom have subspecialty training, are nationally recognized, and bring that experience and expertise to work everyday to provide our patients with the best possible care.
The division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at MUSC Health collaborates with many other Ear, Nose & Throat divisions, such as the Head and Neck Cancer Program and the Craniofacial Anomalies Team, to provide excellent, multi-disciplinary approaches to complicated diseases and conditions.
The mission of the MUSC Health Head and Neck Tumor Center is to provide the most comprehensive, advanced and compassionate care to each patient, while pursuing future goals of the control of head and neck cancer through research.
The Division provides comprehensive patient care for all disease and disorders involving the ear and adjacent skull base in children and adults.
The Audiology program offers a full range of services for adult and children. The adult audiology clinic is located within the ENT clinic area. The facility is equipped with three sound-treated test suites, a hearing aid fitting room, cochlear implant programming room, and the vestibular.
Founded in 1994, the MUSC Health Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Division of the Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery bridges medicine and dentistry together in the collaborative arenas of patient care, research and teaching.

The Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery links the Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery with MUSC Children’s Hospital, one of the top children’s hospitals in the southeast.
The MUSC Health Evelyn Trammell Institute for Voice and Swallowing is the first in South Carolina to provide a multidisciplinary center for the evaluation, treatment, and a clinical research of laryngeal, voice, and swallowing disorders for adults and children.
